APPLICATION PROCESS

Participation in Brass Atelier is through a screened application process. The residency runs over a defined 20-day working period and involves sustained, hands-on engagement with tools, materials, and the studio environment. For this reason, open registration is not offered.

Applicants are asked to apply with a short set of details outlining their background, intent, and readiness for the physical and process-driven nature of the residency. Applications are reviewed internally to assess fit with the studio, the working format, and the expectations of the residency.

Applying does not guarantee selection.

How the Process Works

1. Application Submission
Applicants complete a short application form providing basic details, relevant experience, and a brief statement of intent.

2. Internal Review
Applications are reviewed to assess seriousness of intent, suitability for hands-on studio work, and alignment with the residency format.

3. Selection & Invitation
Selected applicants are invited to proceed. This includes:

  • Confirmation of participation

  • A payment link

  • A waiver and formal documentation

  • Pre-residency guidelines and instructions

4. Final Confirmation
Participation is confirmed only after payment and all required documentation are completed.
